Music events this weekend

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

Friday, February 26 7-10 p.m. This is the monthly open mike, hosted by Perry Devine. If you would like to get on the list, please respond to this email, or you may call Kim Banfield at 541-251-3952. If you would like to be a heckler, er, I mean, member of the audience…just show up! This is a free event, although donations to the Stagelights Musical Arts Community are both needed and appreciated!

Saturday, February 27, 7-10 p.m. don’t miss Jurassic Country and Co. (Rapp Brush, Cousin Elmo, Bill Pearson, Dave Tanner). If you haven’t heard this group yet, and you love old time country music, c’mon in and we’ll do a little two step! $6 each or $10 for two (price goes to help defray expenses and pay the musicians!)

The Centre Stage is located at 703 Chetco Avenue, in the heart of downtown Brookings.

The Backstage Cafe’ will be open for refreshments!
